I DID attempt ice cream sandwiches, ok as a novelty but much favor the true thing, BUT inside of a long term unexpected emergency (is that an oxymoron??) would be a welcome take care of. My grands to begin with favored it but wasn’t serious about more. Sourdough starter is great ‘powdered’, just be sure the pan is lined with parchment or wax
